Samsung unveils next-gen AI model – Gauss2, at SDC24 Korea

Samsung Electronics has unveiled its next-generation artificial intelligence model, Gauss2, during its annual Samsung Developer Conference Korea (SDC24 Korea). This new model signifies a significant leap in performance and versatility compared to its predecessor, the internal generative AI model introduced last year.

Gauss2 builds upon Samsung’s existing strengths in AI research. This multimodal model excels at handling various data types, including text, code, and images. This allows for a more nuanced understanding of user needs and tasks. Additionally, Gauss2 comes in three versions – Compact, Balanced, and Supreme – each catering to different processing requirements.
